The Internet is fast becoming the media of choice for folks to turn to for their news. It is so much easier and faster. You don’t have to walk outside the front door to pick up a newspaper.
The effect of this phenomenom is, of course, destroying the hardcopy, printed newspaper, throwing many good journalists out of work. Collateral damage, I suppose, as a new generation of reporters moves in to replace our former news gatherers.This has led to a new kind of story, much more interesting than reports on corruption, crime and political shenanigans. (Good Lord! Talk about redundancy!)
