to open a window at the back of the house and scream “enough!!!”
This morning, I watched a news segment of Katherine Jackson’s attorneys looking for somebody to sue over her son’s death. I know. I know. What the hell am I doing watching this trash?? I can’t help myself. Anytime I see a story about lawyers suing somebody, I’m like a moth drawn to a flame. It’s like reading Alice in Wonderland except we don’t have Alice or the mad hatter.
To emphasize the lawsuit story, the tv crew threw in , for the thousandth time, a clip of the big, red L.A. fire department ambulance backing out of what I suppose is the driveway of Michael Jackson’s rented mansion.
It’s only going to take seeing that thing one more time and then I’m putting my neighbors on alert: I will scream.
I suppose this beeping vehicle is supposed to contain the near lifeless body of MJ but it has occurred to me that this clip could have been shot anywhere. How would any of us ever know the difference? Hell, it could even be an old shot of Johnny and Roy in action. All we need is an IV of Ringers and lactate.
Unfortunately, it just illustrates what our society has become…..
